I trundled (what a great word) to the Art School, to see TimesNew Viking, No Age and Los Campesinos! on the somewhat embarassingly named "Shred Yr Face" tour.
First up was Times New Viking
Gareth from Los Campensinos! joining in
They were great.  And by the way, for any drummers out there, it is now essential you play at least one song standing up.
Now the mighty No Age.  Go buy Nouns if you haven't already.
Last time I saw them was at theSub Club, and the sound was kind of washy.  Tonight however they were awesome.
Singing drummer no less.
The crowd were a bit subdued.  Possibly because they went on ridics early (8:15!) and nobody was quite drunk enough.
On top of the speaker stacks.  And then he left his guitar up therein the rafters.  Then it fell down and landed on someone.  I hope they're okay.  Aside from that No Age were perfect.
Los Campesinos!, who I hadn't listened to in-depth before now.  They kind of put me off when they introduced themselves by saying "We're from Cardiff, UK" and all I could think of was "Yes,I know where fucking Cardiff is".
They were okay, but I left early, because I was totally starving.

Get down boy
